I have been totally obsessed and preoccupied with creating these ATC's - artist trading cards which are 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 pieces of art work. I sign up for the different themes via Swap-bot.com. First I only made collage ATC's but then I started drawing and painting them. Now I have gotten into creating zentangles which are great mental relaxers. That is the zen of it I suppose. In doing all these little pieces of artwork I have diverted myself from creating larger paintings. I am still doing sketches, and hope to do a family portrait -my parents, brothers and myself. As much fun as these ATC's and zentangles are, I will have to limit myself in getting involved in these swaps in order to get back to painting. I have two paintings on the drawing board to complete and one on the easel. Always a struggle to stay focused.
