second sampler

I am trying to be diligent with these sampler portraits so that by the next opportunity to show at Whole Foods, I will be ready to rumble. this one is another 8 by 10, oil painting....of Antoinette. It turned out pretty nice. I had to rework it because I wanted it more purplish so it took a little longer than House. The photo I worked off had darker shades on the face, but I didn't like that so much and kept softening it. The cool thing was that Seth recognized his mom. Nothing worse than a nicely executed painting that people ask "who is it supposed to be?" about. On to the next portrait!
