I started painting this 11x14 piece in acrylic, which is not my usual medium of choice. In this particular case it worked out perfect. Oil being easier for me to blend-acrylic not so much out here in the desert air. It was good that the white dried quickly over the skin tones , making it look like caked on face paint. It was a another fun project.
