Finished at Last

Yesterday I brought Guadalupe 16x20 oils (which I gave the title "Let it Be") to The Corner Gallery in Boulder City, and today "Red Rocks & Blue Moon" 22x28 acrylics was delivered to the Artisan Hotel. They are two very different paintings for sure.
I am so glad to have them off the drawing board! Now I can wrap up some other unfinished paintings before starting on some new projects.....ha like that's going to happen! I have ideas for several new paintings that will probably squeeze their way into existence before I know what hit me. I love starting new stuff! I am committed to finishing at least one painting a day...or trying to. I have found that working on something continuously does move it along faster than working piecemeal. Going back into a painting often means going over most of it a second and third time. A bad practice of mine.

So onward I go - paintbrush in hand.
