I love watching House. Last night's show was about a woman who blogged her feelings and revealed many things about her personal life, like an obsession. It sort of gave me the nudge to get into this blog thing more, since I have a really small world of relationships right now and not much opportunity to express my feelings about anything to anyone. No matter how often I am on Facebook everything seems limited to sound bites, or type bites and it does bite. Another motivation is that in blogging I am obviously the puppetmaster in control of the topic. I am so not into politics, and have grown weary of the naysayers about the terrible state of the world we live in........and there is only so much discussion revolving around the weather. All that said to say....I painted his picture...House. It is an 8 by 10 oil painting. I like it!
At an art show, a man made a bee line toward me and insisted on buying this painting. I was sad to let it go but I guess I could always paint another. Still watching and enjoying reruns of House.

Interesting show, indeed. This tickled my funny-bone, it is such a juxtaposition that spot a about House is paired with "and have grown weary of the naysayers about the terrible state of the world we live in". House is the embodiment of naysayers. BTW, very nice portrait!
